The Old Bali Blog « Forest fires rage on Bali's Mount Agung
Forest fires are burning again on the slopes of Gunung Agung, Bali's tallest and most revered volcano.
Last year, the mountain lost 200 hectares of prime forest to flames.
Hot Buleleng just got hotter as fires spread through the conservation forests of its West Bali National Park - lack of accessibility make the blazes hard to control.
The current drought is expected to last until November 2013.
